Hello, as many of you have heard our office is now currently closed.

This means if you had a previously scheduled appointment with us it is cancelled. I am continuing to receive a lot of phone calls about missed appointments.

Dr. Todd has chosen to close his private practice and spend these last few years of his career working in the hospital and focusing on his personal health and family. I am working remotely with limited hours to ensure that all of your records get back to your primary care provider or a new surgeon. If you would like a personal copy of your records, please send me an email at bcampbell@alaskabariatric.com.

Please understand that it may take me time to get back to you as I am only able to work limited hours at this time, emails and voicemails are answered in the order they are received.

We apricate your patience during this time. Dr. Todd has been seeing bariatric patients since 2000 and has accumulated thousands of patients over the last 23 years. I am one person working on making sure all of you are taken care of to the best of my ability.

HELLO EVERYONE

We will begin doing regular Zoom Support Group meeting calls weekly on Wednesday at 12:00pm starting on March 22nd.

We will post the Zoom link weekly here on Facebook the Tuesday prior to the meeting.

I have created a Google doc's form that you can add your email to if you would like to be added to the email list in order to get the link sent to you directly.

Good afternoon! It has been quite a while since we have posted here on Facebook and I am here to give you a little update!

Dr. Todd is still practicing! The office is open and operating 100% via telemedicine! (Different, I know) With that being said please, please reach out if you have not had care in the past few years and if there has been any confusion. Our office number is the same (907) 929-4263! We are also actively answering emails sent to mailcentral@alaskabariatric.com

If we haven't heard from you in a while it would be great to see a picture and hear how you are doing! Please feel free to use this feed to share about how things have been in these last few ever-changing years here.

Just wanted to let everyone know that while we are working remotely, we have an answering system in place for all questions or concerns. Just call our office phone 907-929-4263. We will be returning all phone calls within 24 hours. We hope that everyone is doing well and staying safe. We thank you for your patience during this time.

OFFICE UPDATE: PLEASE READ

March 25, 2020

Dear Patients, Colleagues, and Friends,

In response to the State of Alaska’s and the Hospital’s requests for non – essential practices to halt all procedures, we will be closing our physical office and moving to the virtual world. Dr. Warner and I will still be available for the foreseeable future via telemedicine to help you with your medical needs, including most prescriptions and test requests.

We all must keep in mind we are in the middle of a health care crisis, and will be deferring all non – essential studies, hospital or laboratory examinations, or consultations. We do not want to unnecessarily add to the burden of our already strained medical community. We do not want you to be exposed by going to a medical facility unnecessarily.

We will be setting up our virtual office in the next several weeks. Please follow our website and be patient with us and our reduced staff. For now, we will be taking calls on a “drop in basis” and will soon have a “virtual appointment schedule”.

We wish you the best during this trying time. We look forward to seeing you when the crisis has passed, as it surely will.

Until then, please make good choices, and heed government warnings for social and physical distancing, and good hygiene such as hand washing.

We can and will make it through this.
