This Memorial Day, we'll take a moment to honor the individuals that courageously served our country. In observance of the holiday, Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center will be closed on Monday, May 25th. We will reopen Tuesday, May 26th, with normal hours.

If you need to refill medications, schedule an appointment, or take care of any healthcare needs, we encourage you to do so before the long weekend. Thank you for being part of our community.

Need help with SNAP? 🥕 On Thursday, May 7, Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center is hosting a SNAP assistance event with Food Bank of Alaska and representatives from the Alaska Division of Public Assistance (DPA) on-site to help community members apply for benefits, complete recertification, and get answers to SNAP-related questions. If you’ve been thinking about applying for SNAP or need help with paperwork, this is a great opportunity to get support in person.

Public transit isn’t just about getting around—it’s about access to care.

As highlighted in this recent Anchorage Daily News story, Anchorage is considering new transit options that could better connect communities, including a proposed cross-town route serving Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center.

Right now, many of our patients face long walks just to reach the nearest bus stop. That distance can be the difference between getting care and delaying it.
