We want to tell you about one of our favorite accessible tools this month.
The Juno by American Printing House for the Blind.
It features magnification from 2x to 30x, various color contrast options, and a camera mode. The Juno also has a text-to-speech option, that will read the text to you!

We told you last week about the Read&Write Google Chrome Extension. This week we want to show you it in action.
This student is using the speech-to-text feature to translate Yup'ik phrases into English. When the microphone symbol on her laptop appears red, it is recording what she is saying and then typing her English translation into a Google document.

It's easy to get overwhelmed by all of the text on your computer screen and you've probably thought this would be so much easier to say then type.
We want to tell you about an accessibilty tool that can help with both problems.
The Read&Write Google Chrome extension features speech-to-text, text- to- speech, highlighting, translation, screen masking, and simplified page to name a few.
