Hello❗️ I have happy news to share❗️ Our second son Logan is graduating with a nutritional science degree next week from BYU Provo Utah. We are excited for his future endeavors which include working at the office doing specialized nutrition for fertility ❤️

Tara and I are excited to join him in his celebration at graduation. And then have a few days of vacation before 3 days of intense nutrition and health related classes in Boise at CellCore’s annual ECO!

So I have some time yet this week and Monday and Tuesday of next week before I leave for 10 days. Get in and get your emotions, nutrition or your spine tuned up and ready for spring ❗️❗️

Due to the potential influx of extra unwanted air to a huge portion of Alaska Air flights, Dr Mike unfortunately WILL NOT be headed south today. He will be in the office today & tomorrow and possibly next week depending on FAA decisions.
*If Boeing merges with 3M- we are expecting Dr Mike can catch a flight soon ;)

Let’s talk about trauma for a minute. Trauma is not a memory. It is an automatic response that has been programmed into our nervous system. This reaction can be triggered by anything including a sound, smell, taste, etc. It can look different for each person including symptoms of anxiety, depression, panic disordered, or even OCD to name a few.
Trauma doesn’t necessarily mean one big event. It can be years of small stressful situations that end up causing a tipping point.
When trauma gets to the point of having reprogrammed how you respond, you can not think your way out of it. Fight or flight has taken over. This is where energy work can help! We work together on reprogramming this automatic response within your nervous system, then we can retrain your nervous system to correctly respond to future events. You will learn movements, exercises, and postures that will help not only integrate what we balance, but these become your tools so that you know what to do during future stress or trauma so you can have a sense of empowerment.
