🍓🫐 Berry Picking at Hatcher Pass! 🫐🍓

Today was a beautiful day for some classic Alaskan subsistence activity — berry picking with our Shine Bright Care family! 🌿☀️

We headed out to Hatcher Pass in the Mat-Su Valley, enjoyed the fresh mountain air, and gathered a sweet little harvest of wild berries. It was more than just picking — it was about connecting with nature, building skills, and sharing laughs as a group. 💙

These moments help us grow stronger as a community, and we’re so grateful to live in a place that offers such rich traditions and natural beauty.

🍽️ Flavor, Fun, and Full Hearts in Wasilla! 💜

Our group home participants in Wasilla have been turning up the heat in the kitchen—and we’re LOVING it! From bold dinner creations to sweet treats that could brighten anyone’s day, this crew has been cooking up joy with every dish.

🔥 Special shout-out to Kenny for his help with the mouthwatering Spicy Garlic & Honey Fried Chicken over rice with green beans—seriously, it was a flavor explosion!

And who could forget the extra treats the whole home helped whip up? These desserts were next-level:

🍠 Ube Cake
🍎 Fruit Crumble
🍪 Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies
