Releasing the quadratus lumborum (QL) — that deep, often-overlooked muscle in your lower back, can be a game-changer for stubborn back pain. Tightness here commonly contributes to one-sided discomfort, stiffness, and even hip tension from prolonged sitting or poor posture. Active Release Technique (ART) helps reduce muscle spasms and trigger points, eases pain, improves spinal stability and flexibility, and supports better overall posture and movement. Many people notice quick relief and greater ease in daily activities once this hidden stabilizer finally lets go.

X Rays are rarely warranted in a chiropractor’s office. Chiropractors that use them to determine their course of treatment, or how they will adjust you, have a dogmatic, antiquated philosophy which has no bearing on the outcome of treatment. Same goes for long, drawn out treatment plans. Especially the ones that require you to sign off on them like some sort of contract. At that point, you’re just part of their bu$ine$$ plan. Smarten up, folks.
Have a good day. I have to skip state before the old guard of the profession kidnaps me. 😂

Your body is an incredibly resilient machine, built to handle whatever life throws at it.
The stronger you stay and the more mobile your joints remain, the more powerful and capable that machine becomes.
Train hard. Move daily. Embrace the grind.
Your body was made for this

Occasionally, patients bring in paperwork from their previous chiropractor. I’m generally not interested in their notes regarding misalignments, “subluxations,” or postural deficits. We all have these findings to some degree, and research shows little to no correlation between them and pain or symptoms.
My primary goal is to get you out of pain, moving well, and feeling good. Achieving that requires building strength, stability, and an appropriate amount of mobility.

It was good to hang with before he heads back to California to prepare for his next fight. He had a much needed break and was all over the mountains of Alaska these past couple of weeks heliskiing. He’s made Alaska and Serbia very proud. Keep it up, buddy.

Incorporating upper and lower body power movements is a great way to create full body tension and stability through multiple joints. Don’t hate me for this one! 😂

4 things I WON’T do as your chiropractor:

1. Rush you in and out in 5 minutes.

2. Treat you without discussing your physical activity levels and what your goals are.

3. Take X-Rays. They are the most overused, and unnecessary thing most chiros do. In the unlikely case that I suspect a fracture, you will be referred out to an imaging center where a professionally trained radiologist will write a report and get it back to me.

4. Push unnecessarily long treatment plans. When we get you feeling good and moving good, I’ll see ya when I see ya.

I’m here to help you get back to doing the things you enjoy, pain free.
