A local unvaccinated child has tested positive for measles after visiting several public places while contagious. Measles is highly contagious and can be serious—especially for babies and those with weakened immune systems.

🛡️ Protect your child with the MMR vaccine:
1st dose: 12–15 months
2nd dose: 4–6 years
Infants 6–11 months may need early vaccination if traveling or exposed

📍 Watch for symptoms: high fever, cough, runny nose, red eyes, and rash.
📞 If symptoms appear, call your provider before visiting to avoid spreading the virus.
✅ Not sure if your child is up to date? Use Docket, Patient Portal or Text/Call ACP at 907-777-1800 for more information.
