✨ NEW FACE MASSAGE SERVICE ✨

I am so excited to be offering a 60-minute session devoted only to the face 💕

✨ An herb infused oil is used to hydrate and rejuvenate the skin and different techniques may be incorporated, depending on the goal of the client

✨ Manual lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, Swedish massage techniques, lifting and sculpting, cupping, gua sha, and buccal/intraoral techniques may be used

✨ Benefits are plentiful and include improved lymph and blood flow, reduced tension in muscles of the face and head, tissue nourishment, reduced puffiness, and activation of the parasympathetic nervous system (deep relaxation!)

✨ My schedule has been full lately but I opened up a few more spots in May and June! You can schedule online using the link in my profile and please reach out if you’d like to be added to the waitlist 🤍

NEW ARTWORK IN MY SPACE ♥️

The human body is not only amazing but it’s also incredibly beautiful. Here are three lovely muscles of facial expression:

✨ mentalis (Latin chin) cone-shaped muscle that creates dimples in the chin and expresses sorrow and doubt

✨ orbicularis oculi (Latin circular eye) creates protection for the eyeballs by closing the eyelids and providing hydration. It’s also the fastest moving muscle in the human body!

✨ procerus (Latin prince- it creates a look of superiority) & corrugator supercilii (Latin wrinkler of eyebrows) these muscles work together to depress the brows and protect the eyes by creating wrinkles and a little ledge when exposed to bright lights. Helps to maintain brow position and shape, and shows emotions such as anger, perplexion, and distress

I am SO excited to be offering facial massage starting in April! 🤍

✨ I have been busy taking several facial massage courses, including buccal/intraoral techniques, facial sculpting, cupping, and gua sha!

✨ Facial massage offers many wonderful benefits, such as reducing tension in the face, head, and neck, improving lymphatic and blood circulation, and calming of the nervous system

✨ I wanted to offer this wonderful service to my clients because over the years I have realized the connection of facial tension contributing to neck pain, headaches, and TMJ discomfort. It is also so incredibly relaxing and helps lead to a good night of sleep!
