Dr. Thomas McCarty has been a practicing Audiologist in Alaska for over 37 years, and established Audiology Associates Inc. 23 years ago. Before opening Audiology Associates Inc., Dr. McCarty had the opportunity to travel all over Alaska to bring better hearing health care to all of Alaska, and still to this day enjoys ability to help Alaskan's from all walks of life. Dr. McCarty is proud to have

been the first Audiologist to get his doctorate degree in Alaska, graduating from the University of Florida. Audiology Associates is the only Audigy Certified Office in the state. He is proud to be certified to provide tinnitus evaluation and treatment by the Tinnitus Practitioners Association. Dr. McCarty enjoys being able to help those struggling with ringing or other sounds in the ears or head, by gaining control over the situation and strive to live a more peaceful life.

I've had an amazing experience at Audiology Associates! The entire staff is warm, professional, and genuinely caring. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. Viola was not only knowledgeable and professional but also incredibly kind, funny, and down-to-earth. She made me feel completely at ease, took the time to listen to my concerns, and explained everything in a way that was honest and easy to understand.What stood out the most was how much she genuinely cared—not just about my hearing, but about me as a person. It’s rare to find someone in healthcare who brings so much heart to their work, and that made all the difference.The office was clean, comfortable, and well-organized, and every staff member I interacted with was friendly and helpful. If you're looking for someone who truly goes above and beyond, this is the place to go. I’m so grateful I found them!
