Celebrating with a stop by Kaladi Brothers Coffee !☕💜 Do you think coffee is better hot or cold?

However you drink it, remember to brush your teeth afterwards ➡3️⃣0️⃣ minutes afterwards! This will allow time for your saliva to neutralize the acid within the coffee. Rinse with water, then brush as normal. Acidic food and drink can cause damage to your teeth when it stays in your mouth for too long. High levels of acidity in your mouth erodes enamel, which makes your teeth sensitive to temperature and more prone to decay.

Tuesday Transformation 💫

This awesome young man has such a big fun personality. His smile, unfortunately did not do justice to his character. He had uneven gum tissue contours and wear on several teeth. Using the Marshall Hanson Method we able create a big beautiful smile that fits he’s face and his awesome personality, all without removing any tooth structure.

We’re so excited to celebrate 22 years with our amazing Debbie. She is still so dedicated and loyal to HCD as a committed professional working to improve the health of our patients. She has a heart as big as Alaska and cares deeply for each of her patients and friends that she has treated for so many years. Where's Guadalupe?

is such a hard worker, we don’t always get to see her smiling face much! Her operatory is at the end of the hall, where she works incredibly hard as one of our team’s wonderful dental hygienists!

At our last , we learned about , , and (HBOT) from Jeana Kaufman with and ! Jeana is an occupational therapist trained in lymphedema therapy, myofacial trigger point dry needling, and HBOT.

Our learning focused mostly on dry-needling and hyperbaric oxygen, as that is what our patients may benefit from most!

🌟Dry-needling is a technique used to release tension and help relax "trigger points" - or little knots - in your muscles. These knots can refer pain to other areas of your body (including the teeth!), and treatment acts like a "reset", improving blood flow, relieving pain, and improving range of motion.

🌟HBOT has many health benefits, more than just wound healing! Main ways it can help our dental patients is fighting harmful bacteria, speeding up healing, and boosting bone and gum repair.
