Ikaika is a rock, and rockstar, at HCD. He is dependable, calm under pressure, and thoughtful. His calm presence balances potentially stressful situations, and he's always doing something to help, with or without a patient in the chair. Ikaika makes balancing school and work look easy, bringing new things he's learned from school to our team and how he approaches caring for patients. He sees the little things that make appointments and days go smoother. Honestly, I'm having a hard time finding the right words to describe all that Ikaika is to me, and our team, just because of how awesome he is, and how humble he is when we try to brag on him. Being around Ikaika is a feeling you just have to experience for yourself, and anyone who has been in the chair with him will understand.

1️⃣ Myofascial release of the temporalis to release tension and pain that contributes to TMD and headaches.
2️⃣ Bilateral inferior rotation of the temporal bones to improve functional mobility of the temporomandibular region.
3️⃣ Left sided suboccipital release and mobilization to release tension at the base of the skull and cervical spine.
4️⃣ Right sided internal mobilization of the masseter for tension and pain reduction to improve range of motion of opening.

She is a master learner and is willing to step in and fulfill whatever role she is given. She never complains and always goes the extra mile to be able to complete her task at hand.
