The machine has us going back to one of our oral cancer awareness campaigns in 2018. Did you know that survivors of oral cancer typically "undergo extensive reconstructive surgery, which may involve removing parts of the tongue, jaw, or palate. This often leaves them permanently unable to chew gum or blow bubbles." This campaign was to help raise awareness to remind everyone to get their oral cancer screenings every year. This is something we do with every dental exam and hygienist visit!

With April being National Oral Cancer Awareness Month, it's the perfect time to learn more about your risk factors for oral cancer and ways to prevent it. Call us today for a free screening at 907-276-4537!
