✨ It’s time we talk about what many women already know: pain during gynecologic procedures often gets dismissed or underestimated. And that’s changing—for the better.

🔑 Key takeaways:
• New guidelines from ACOG (American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists) emphasize that doctors should not underestimate pain in office procedures, and should provide more options for pain control.
• Some innovations are here or coming: smaller & more flexible IUDs; plastic or redesigned speculums (including new multi-petal styles); gentler tools for biopsies. All aimed to reduce discomfort.
• Patients now have more choices for pain relief: things like local anesthetic sprays or creams, cervical or paracervical blocks, NSAIDs ahead of procedures, and intrauterine lidocaine in some cases.
• Women often delay care because of fear of pain or bad prior experiences. But knowing what your options are—and asking for them—can make a big difference.

• Assist providers with gynecologic exams & in-office procedures
• Prepare patients for visits, take vitals, and update medical records
• Support aesthetic services (lasers, fillers, PRP, etc.)
• Perform phlebotomy & administer injections (B12, vitamin D, MICC, etc.)
• Educate patients with kindness and clarity
• Help maintain a clean, welcoming clinical environment

• Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA or CMA required)

I am creating a continuously evolving space where women feel valued and heard. I provide comprehensive gynecologic care as well as cosmetic and aesthetic services. I am adding more services based on the needs and desires of my patients.

Often, there is a lot of anxiety surrounding the gynecologic visit, I am providing a spa experience to allay your fears and relax your mind. I treat my patients the way I want to be treated when I go to the doctor’s office; I want to be treated like I’m at the spa, so that is what we do. I am not your traditional gynecologist.
