Sunday, February 9th, she will speak to us about the energetic world we live in and how tuning into the subtle energy within and around us can allow us to Say Yes to Life!. Delisa is an author, speaker, educator, and is certified in energy psychology.

This morning and afternoon, ATOM was excited to host the Honorable Juan Rafael Arcos Tuitza ("Peem") in the Center for two talks. At the Sunday Gathering, he spoke of our connection to all of nature and how each moment is an opportunity to pause, notice and connect with the world around us. How it is important not to carry our past "backpack of baggage" with us into this present moment.

After a brief break, several members gathered and were exposed to the Indigenous Healing techniques of the Shaur People of Ecuador.

We discussed the power and need as healers to first pay careful attention to their own grounding, the need to be fully present to the highest and best good of the person receiving the healing, and the traditional use of pure to***co and ayahuasca to the Shamans of the Amazon.

To say Peem was on fire, as you can see, is an understatement. In this photo, he demonstrates the Kimay, a healing breath.

Tomorrow, October 7th, he is be presenting Amazon: The Rainforest at Risk from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Centre on C {6000 C St. Anchorage}
