Hello! Ever wonder what a root canal does? One reason to have a root canal is due to infection around the root tip. In the top left corner, you can see the shadow on the x-ray, indicating there is an infection. Once the root canal treatment is finished, it can take up to 6 months, a year or even longer for the area to completely heal! The bottom x-rays show the healing process for this case!

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

We are excited to announce that Dr. Rosie Lindemann has joined our team. She will begin seeing patients in July. Her impressive journey and dedication to patient care make her a valuable addition to our practice. Dr. Lindemann graduated from Christopher Newport University with a B.S. in Chemistry. Following graduation, she pursued an M.S. in Biochemistry at Syracuse University before deciding to go to dental school. She obtained her D.D.S. degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and went on to complete a one-year General Dentistry Residency in Tucson, AZ. After practicing in public health for several years, Dr. Lindemann went back to school to complete her endodontic training at the University of Iowa. Go Hawks! She is a Board Eligible Endodontist with the American Board of Endodontics. In her free time, Dr. Lindemann enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 sons, and spending time in the great outdoors. Dr. Lindemann looks forward to meeting you all!
