Come join us on May 4, 2023, 11:30-12:30 at the Colonel Mary Louise Rasmuson Campus, 1201 North Muldoon Road, Anchorage, AK as we conduct a National Day of Prayer Observance.

In the United States, the National Day of Prayer in 2023 is May 4. This American tradition is actually older than America itself, dating back to the Second Continental Congress, before the Declaration of Independence. The National Day of Prayer is observed annually on the first Thursday in May. This day observance, designated by the United States Congress, asks people “to turn to God in prayer and meditation.”

This year's theme is derived from James 5:16b, Pray Fervently in Righteousness and Avail Much: "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much."
