Big E (Eric Castillo) comes all the way from Texas to help Camp Frozen Chozen. Big E works with his local Camp and brings up ideas to share. Big E tells us, "Camp Frozen Chosen is a one-of-a-kind experience, surrounded by beautiful and majestic scenery, you have the opportunity to give back and really fill your heart. My favorite parts about camp is seeing my amazing friends, The Polar Plunge (every year rain or shine), and Camp fire songs (Hello my name is Joe). My favorite thing about the yearbook is seeing all the smiles and seeing the photo recap of our adventures during the week. Thank you all so much for this opportunity, it's an honor and privilege to be a part of this awesome organization and program. Looking forward to seeing you all again."

Did you get your Camp Yearbook?
Saraha (Sarah Firth) had her Camp Frozen Chozen Yearbook hand-delivered to her by a friend while she was out for a bite to eat. “Remembering our Pangea cabin from this summer in Alaska!” Sahara commented when asked what was the best part about the Yearbook. “My favorite photo in the Yearbook is of our cabin making flower crowns out of the giant Alaska-sized dandelions.” Sahara concluded, “There is nowhere like Camp Frozen Chozen.”
Sahara comes all the way from Massachusetts for the past couple years to be an in-cabin counselor. She brings years of camp experience and is a favorite among the young girls.

Camp Frozen Chozen will be the first week June in 2026. If you are qualified to be a camper or wish to experience the joy of the Alaska Camp as a Counselor, applications will be available at the beginning of the new year.
