This year we have some pretty phenomenal prizes for the top fundraiser and 1st place in men's and women's climbers.

We want to send a huge shout out and thank you to Alaska Airlines for donating the ultimate travel package, Alyeska Resort for donating prizes for the 1st place in men's and women's and to Skhoop USA and Skinny Raven Sports for donating products and apparel for our 2nd + 3rd place winners.

We are so excited to have Mary Wegner join our LEWK board. Mary is a GYN cancer survivor living in Juneau and is dedicated to supporting Alaskan GYN cancer patients and survivors on their journey to health. She has been an integral part of the success of our Extra Toughs program, providing exercise, nutrition, and counseling to GYN and breast cancer patients. Her expertise within the education system has also perfected her grant writing skills. Welcome to the team, Mary!

Remember the really incredible Trend Alaska Fashion Show that chose LEWK as their charity of choice in 2023? Their final show is September 20th at the Performing Arts Center we have 10 tickets for LEWK community members to attend!

🌄This Thursday! 🎡Don’t miss Cancer Screening Day at the Alaska State Fair – a chance to take charge of your health while enjoying the Fair.
✅ Mobile Mammography for Breast Cancer, Free PSA blood tests for Prostate Cancer, Free HPV Vaccines, and MORE. Sign up for Cologuard kits for colorectal cancer screening and explore a wealth of information on early detection, awareness, programs, and volunteer opportunities.

LEWK is extremely honored to have been the charity of choice at the most recent meeting of Anchorage’s 100+ Women Who Care. The funds will be used to help Anchorage women facing gynecologic cancer cover the costs of doctor visits, chemotherapy, radiation, integrative medicine, and travel/lodging associated with clinical trials or out of state treatments.
