Our Story

On behalf of our funeral directors, Brian Lervold and Michael Elizondo, and the staff at our sister Funeral Home, Peninsula Memorial Chapel, we thank you for visiting our page.

Anchorage Funeral Home & Crematory is a small, family owned and operated funeral home that first opened in Anchorage in 1992. All of our staff are actively involved in our communities through various volunteer efforts with the Lion’s Club, Rotary International, and the Blood Bank of Alaska.

We have a long history of quality, culturally sensitive service to all people in Anchorage and beyond. We proudly offer Traditional Funeral Services, Cremation Services, Caskets, Urns, and Headstones.

Our mission is to offer the most economic funeral and cremation services in Alaska with on-site crematories and service that exceeds your expectations with dignity and honor for all of our families.
