On this National Doctors' Day, we proudly honor Dr. Michael McNamara for 27 years of dedicated upper extremity orthopedic care.

A true pioneer, he performed Alaska’s first finger replantation surgery and first reverse total shoulder arthroplasty. Dr. McNamara also holds four patents that advance wrist surgery and improve patient outcomes. Known for his expertise, skill, and compassionate care, Dr. Mac has left a lasting impact on patients and colleagues alike.

As he prepares to retire on May 1st, we celebrate his remarkable career and wish him all the best in the adventures ahead!

After more than 27 years of serving our Alaska community, Dr. Michael McNamara will be retiring from orthopedic surgery on May 1st.

Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. McNamara has helped countless patients regain mobility and return to the activities they love. We are incredibly grateful for his exceptional skill, strong leadership, and the compassionate care he has provided to so many individuals and families over the years.

Please join us in celebrating an outstanding career and wishing Dr. McNamara a well-deserved and fulfilling retirement.
