It sometimes takes extraordinary effort just to get the drill rig and supplies to remote parts of the Sudd in South Sudan. The people of Petit and our own team cleared the way, by hand, to allow us to move tons of material for the water wells. Happy to report we achieved success and drilled two wells for the people of Petit.

We are heartbroken to share that our friend and colleague, Mike Narada, has passed away. For years, Mike was our “man in Kenya"... the one who made everything happen behind the scenes. Whether coordinating critical supplies, supporting medical care, or guiding young men toward brighter futures, Mike showed up with dedication, wisdom, and heart.

As one team member shared: he was always there to welcome us when we arrived—and the last to say goodbye when we left. Please hold his family in your thoughts and prayers. His impact will not be forgotten.

Thanks to Jon Van Zyle for donating this great painting of a dog musher with two sled dogs. Jon, a two-time Iditarod veteran, has graciously used his talents to raise money for clean water in South Sudan. With the Iditarod race ongoing, it's great to think of the race we're facing: providing clean drinking water to one of the world's most needy populations.
