Today, we honor and remember the sacrifices of our soldiers and express our gratitude and condolences to the families of those who never made it home.

Memorial Day is a day of remembrance for the men and women who died while serving our country.

98 year old World War II veteran, David Yoho, sums up Memorial Day. "Tell them about veterans and say to them that we gave up our yesterdays for your tomorrows”. And when they ask where you heard that? While saluting and fighting back tears Yoho says "Tell them it was a 16-year-old boy in the heart and mind and body of a 98-year-old veteran of World War II."

Take a moment of silence today to honor and remember all those who gave up their tomorrow for your today.

🔥 Fi****ms Tip of the Day 🔥

Don’t just practice shooting at targets standing still. Real-life situations are unpredictable. Practice drawing safely, moving, using cover, and shooting from different positions.

Perfect range conditions don’t prepare you for imperfect real-world conditions.
Train realistically.

🔥 Fi****ms Tip of the Day 🔥

Owning a firearm for self-defense means more than just carrying it. It means being able to use it safely, responsibly, and effectively under stress.

A few minutes at the range once in a while isn’t enough. Real confidence comes from consistent training:
✔ Safe handling
✔ Proper trigger control
✔ Target identification
✔ Decision-making under pressure
✔ Knowing when not to shoot

Remember:
You don’t rise to the occasion in a critical moment — you fall back on your level of training.

Train with purpose. Carry with responsibility. Stay prepared. 🇺🇸

🔫 Fi****ms Tip of the Day 🔫

Your firearm is only part of your self-defense plan — your awareness is the real first line of defense.

Stay alert. Stay off your phone in public. Pay attention to exits, people’s behavior, and anything that feels “off.” Avoiding a dangerous situation is always better than having to react to one.

Situational awareness buys you time.
Time gives you options.
Options save lives.

Train your mind as much as you train your trigger finger.

Train hard. Stay safe. Stay responsible.

Fi****ms Tips Every Responsible Gun Owner Should Follow

Owning a firearm is more than a right — it’s a responsibility. Whether you’re brand new or experienced, these habits matter:

The BIG 4 - Primary rules of gun safety or the Universal rules
🔹 Treat every firearm as if it’s loaded
🔹 Keep your finger off the trigger until you’re ready to fire
🔹 Never point your firearm at anything you’re not willing to destroy
🔹 Know your target — and what’s beyond it

Additional rules
🔹 Train regularly, not just occasionally
🔹 Practice drawing, reloads, and malfunction drills safely - Dry training works well and is free
🔹 Store fi****ms securely and away from unauthorized access
🔹 Clean and inspect your firearm often
🔹 Avoid complacency — accidents happen when people get careless
🔹 Your mindset is your greatest weapon. Stay calm, aware, and disciplined.

Remember: Carrying a firearm without training can create more risk than protection. Skill, judgment, and safety should always come first.

Train hard. Stay safe. Stay responsible.

Why should you train?

If you choose to carry a firearm, you should choose to train with it. Carrying without training isn’t protection — it’s liability.

Under stress, you don’t rise to the occasion. You fall back on your level of training. Ask yourself:
• Can you confidently identify when a situation actually warrants deadly force?
• Can you make that decision fast, under pressure?
• And if you press the trigger, can you hit your target… or are you sending rounds into a parking lot full of innocent people?

Every bullet that leaves the barrel comes with responsibility. You own every single shot you take. That’s reality.

You need reps.
You need muscle memory.
You need to practice your draw.
You need to work on accuracy and decision-making.

So if that moment ever comes, you’re calm, controlled, and capable — not guessing, panicking, or “praying and spraying.”

Competence is part of responsible carrying. Period.

The emotional weight…..

Choosing to carry a concealed firearm comes with a level of responsibility that goes far beyond the physical act of carrying. It’s a decision that could one day affect your life—and the lives of others—in profound ways.

Many people who begin carrying experience a range of emotions, such as:
• A stronger sense of personal responsibility
• Concern about making the wrong call in a critical moment
• Analyzing everyday interactions more carefully
• Doubts about how they might react under pressure

These feelings are common, particularly for those new to concealed carry. They highlight why developing the right mindset is so important.

A firearm isn’t simply a tool for defense. Carrying it represents a commitment to awareness, restraint, and responsible judgment—prioritizing avoidance of conflict, seeking to defuse tense situations when possible, and only using force as a last resort.
