✅ Seward’s Day is a state holiday, celebrated on the last Monday in March, commemorating the signing of the Alaska Purchase on March 30, 1867. U.S. Secretary of State William H. Seward negotiated the purchase from Russia, acquiring Alaska for just 2 cents an acre!

✅This historic decision paved the way for Alaska's rich cultural heritage and vast natural resources. Today, we celebrate not just the acquisition, but also the resilient spirit of Alaskans and the breathtaking beauty of our great state. Lucky us!😃

🌱 Seed oils may not be the villains they’re made out to be.

✅Current research shows they can be a smart part of a balanced diet—especially when used instead of saturated fats. While debates continue, most peer‑reviewed studies don’t support claims of typical dietary amounts causing inflammation or oxidative harm.

✅Health experts still recommend seed oils over animal fats for their potential heart‑health benefits. As with any fat, moderation matters, and they work best alongside a diet rich in whole foods like fruits, veggies, whole grains and lean proteins.
