With advanced training in rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis management, and musculoskeletal ultrasound, Dr. Botson offers thoughtful, individualized treatment for complex autoimmune and joint-related conditions. He works closely with referring physicians to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.

Meet Dr. Owen Ala, a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand, wrist, and upper extremity care—offering advanced treatment with an approachable, patient-first style.

Dr. Ala treats everything from fractures and arthritis to carpal tunnel and joint injuries, using both surgical and nonsurgical solutions tailored to each patient’s needs. 🛑 Wasilla Road Closure: Plan Ahead for Appointments Aug 1–4

If you’re visiting OPA Wasilla this weekend—including our Injury Walk-In Clinic—please be aware of a weekend road closure that may impact your route:

🚧 Seward Meridian Parkway will be CLOSED to vehicles and pedestrians between Bogard Rd and Birch View Dr from
9PM Friday, August 1 – 4AM Monday, August 4.

This closure supports the Cottonwood Creek bridge project and will affect traffic in the area.

🚶 Pedestrian access is also restricted.
🥾 Seven Canoe Trail remains closed through October.

✅ OPA Wasilla and the Injury Walk-In Clinic remain open! Be sure to allow for extra travel time and consider alternate routes.
