THANK YOU to everyone who helped with praying, planning and preparing for our 33rd Annual Sav-A-Life Banquet held on September 22! It takes an army of volunteers to host this event. THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the program - our emcee Trippy McGuire, singers Mark Rudd and Beth Dean, and especially our guest speaker Dr. Ben Carson.

Whippoorwill Cottage Catering’s delicious food was served by Crossover Ministry clients. Crossover Ministry helped set up and clean up in record time.

Welcome and congratulations to Dr. Ben Carson who was sworn in today as USDA's National Advisor for Nutrition, Health, and Housing 🎉

In his role, Dr. Carson will advise both President Trump and Secretary Rollins on policies related to nutrition, rural healthcare quality, and housing accessibility.

If you are planning to attend the Sept. 22 Sav-A-Life banquet with Dr. Ben Carson, we ask that you consider the following:

* Please do not bring any fi****ms or weapons in the Kiwanis Community Center.
* Please do not bring any large bags or backpacks.
* Please be sure to have your actual tickets with you unless you have made prior arrangements with Sav-A-Life to receive them at the door.

Some churches support our ministry monthly or quarterly. We are thankful for them including us in their church budgets. At times, we need diapers, wipes, formula, etc. Once again our churches provide for that need. A church recently brought us boxes and boxes of diapers, along with baby formula. We are grateful for that Sunday School Class and Bible Study group. They wanted to remain anonymous.
