Structured water is a molecular arrangement of water molecules that exists when water is near hydrophilic (water loving) surfaces. Much like ice, water molecules join together in hexagonally structured single layer sheets. Unlike ice, however, the sheets are flexible and move independently as they are not glued together by protons. This kind of water is more biologically active, shows an increased surface tension, density and viscosity and a decrease in electrical conductivity. Why is structured water better than Tap Water? Does it work like a filter? We drink water and cook with water, trying to purify it using different filters. Unfortunately the water which comes out of our taps is already dead, having passed through harsh chemicals and a maze of dark piping, making it less able to rejuvenate our cells than the living water found in nature. Although filters can absorb harsh chemicals and turn our water more alkaline, there is no filter which can revive water back to its living state and give it back the properties which make it so beneficial to our health. In its optimum state, water can most effectively heal and energise all living things. Water exchanges with the surrounding environment its energy, substance and information. It forms water structures and structures with different substances. It perceives information and reacts on it.
