I haven't got to make a post since our event last week. I've had a very sick husband but thankfully he is getting better. He had his drain removed today and we are on the the other side of the gallbladder nightmare!!
So....with that being said I want to thank everyone that came out and supported STAY. It was an amazing night with lots of information.
We will be starting the planning for the MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID TRAINING....within the next couple of weeks. As soon as we have dates and information on how to sign up I will let everyone know.
I had a call tonight from someone going through this right now......so for everyone remember to be okay with not being okay....and remind others that's none of us are really okay....we just have to lean on Jesus and each other....and take each day a minute at a time!!
If you think someone is struggling ask the hard questions....are you thinking of killing yourself....then let them know they have someone that sees them and is ready to listen.

What an amazing turn out!!! Thank you so much to everyone that was able to help! Whether you spoke, entertained, cooked, handed information out, donated, or just prayed…… Because of all of you we were able to pull off our first STAY event!! Our goal was to get information out and for real testimonies to be heard so that people know they are not in this alone!! We all struggle and it’s ok not to be ok!! I think we accomplished that tonight! However, there is more work to be done!! Keep an eye out for our next event and opportunities to help and/ or get help!! Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts!! #988
