Super proud of Wren!!! Wren rehabbed knee pain last year and today won the girls 3k cross country race at Ducworth! Wren has also posted great Midnight Flight and Eye Opener 5k times this season. Upstate PT wishes Wren continued success as she leads the TL Hanna girls team this season!

Tom first came to us earlier this year after a total knee replacement. He returned to us after tearing his bicep tendon at work and we worked on strengthening his shoulder prior to surgery. Tom plans to return after surgery to continue physical therapy so he can return to work!

David chairs a group of private practice clinics from NC and SC that have met annually at Grove Park Inn every January. It’s always a great weekend of fellowship and sharing of business ideas. David started an annual guys weekend with this group by hosting on Lake Nantahala. We had great weather and food, tons of laughs and business ideas shared, some mountain biking and rope swinging! Upstate PT and the practices owned by these men all got better at “Dude Weekend 1.0”! Pumped for next year’s 2.0 already!!!

Garrett first came to us earlier this year for a prehab stint from a left shoulder injury that occurred while at work. He later had a planned labral repair and returned to see us to continue his rehabilitation throughout the summer, where he regained full range of motion and strength. He completed his final post-op PT visit today after working diligently over the past few months and is returning to work full time next week!

My friend Chris Arnette has crushed his rehab after a Total Knee Arthoplasty. He came in 17 days ago with 80 deg of knee flexion and has 122 deg today showing outstanding work ethic in doing his home exercises. The best progress I’ve seen in a short amount of time. Great work Chris! Bravo!

Today is Hawaiian shirt day in honor of our student, Daniel Axmann and our patient Tony Robinson! Daniel is in his 4th of 8 weeks with us and has worked up to seeing 10 patients a day. He’s putting in great prep work before and after clinic and is well on his way to meeting his goal of becoming an “elite” physical therapist. Tony has had a cervical fusion and is working hard with Taylor to regain post-op function.

Michael was our first PTA hire and is an amazing therapist! He and his wife Katie have fostered and adopted Wyatt and Hazel and then been blessed to add Gabe and Elias! Michael was a faithful attendee of our Bible Study and it has been such an encouragement to see him lead his family in the nurture and admonition of the Lord!!!
