Are you tired of spending too much time label-reading on the grocery store aisle⏱? So was Emma, the creator of Pendleton Granola🙋‍♀️!

“I grew up with my grandma making the most delicious, homemade granola. When I realized that the stuff on the store shelves was packed with sugar and filled with ingredients I couldn’t even pronounce, I knew it was time to take matters into my own hands👐. So, one day in March of 2024, I walked into city hall, got my business license, and that was the beginning💚!” ~Emma

Emma quickly realized just how many other folks were looking for clean and simple foods as her business started to grow in leaps and bounds📈! Speaking of simple, Emma’s “why” is just that: “I’m passionate about clean, real food. I believe everyone should have easy access to it—not just processed junk. If grocery shelves were stocked with foods containing only real ingredients, our country would be so much healthier. Instead, you have to spend time reading labels, learning how food is grown, and understanding marketing tricks in order to find something healthy😤.” ~Emma

It seems like just yesterday we were signing our kiddos up for fall football, and now it’s already time to think about the next sports around the corner – lacrosse🥍and basketball🏀!

What better way to keep those little bodies in motion than trying a new sport? “Flex6 Lacrosse” is a fun, fast-paced, and non-contact version of the game that’s being offered at The Anderson Area YMCA! Learn more about it here👉www.usalacrosse.com/flex6-lacrosse. Registration begins TODAY and runs through October 5th. The cost is $60 for YMCA members and $90 for non-members.

If you’re sticking to the tried and true sport of basketball🏀, the YMCA has you covered there as well! Registration begins September 29th and continues through October 26th. The cost is $75 for YMCA members and $105 for non-members.

Everyone knows when Mason’s in the building because his joyful, and often hilarious greetings, are loud and proud for all to hear😂! However, this 10-year-old comedian had an unsteady start in life. Born 10 weeks early, placed on a ventilator, and given tracheostomy and gastrostomy tubes, sweet Mason was a fighter from the beginning🥊!

Facing many obstacles, Mason’s incredible parents were determined to help him be the best Mason possible despite his rough start. Intrigued by pediatric and neurologically-focused chiropractic care🧠, Mom Leslie decided to reach out to E320 Chiropractic💚to see if Mason’s sensory processing disorder, balance and coordination issues, and ADHD could improve. Mason’s mom and dad approached pediatric chiropractic care with a good bit of skepticism because they were accustomed to a symptom-based approach to health care. However, running low on resources and hope, Mason’s parents decided to go all-in for their son💪!
At Mason’s doctor’s report, hope finally arrived💚. Dad Chad had this to say👉: “Listening to Dr. Rhonda’s initial evaluation explained why so many of Mason’s challenges were present. Her assessment and recommended care plan gave us hope that we could really help him🙌!”

Today, Mason’s progress is on full display👏! “The first thing we noticed was a drastic improvement in his emotional regulation. Next, we noticed that both the quality and the quantity of his sleep💤was much better! We feel like chiropractic care along with his other therapies are getting his body to a place where it can begin to heal itself,” Mason’s parents celebrated🎉!

The E320 Chiropractic team is Mason’s official fan club, but we feel like the feeling might be mutual💚. Mason says his favorite part of getting adjusted is receiving Dr. Rhonda’s🤓famous “hug adjustment,” but Mason also sneaks in a hug or two from the rest of the team whenever he can. We are so proud of you, buddy! Keep bringing the joy✨!

When you’ve tried everything to find relief from a health struggle that just won’t let up, hopelessness can set in😢. For Hannah, watching her daughter Gloria battle constant bathroom accidents and itchy, eczema-covered skin was heartbreaking. “Our life was revolving around Gloria’s toileting accidents. Extra laundry, embarrassment, needing to find a toilet ASAP no matter where we were… Gloria became so ashamed of herself even though she couldn’t help it. I could see her confidence was being affected💔,” Hannah shared.

Determined to help, Hannah tried 4–5 gut supplements, natural laxatives (with awful side effects), loads of juice, cutting out dairy, and even MiraLAX. “It was a constant attempt to try and straighten her out in the most natural and beneficial way, and it was extremely frustrating because she is so smart and was toilet trained at an early age. I became outraged at some people’s advice and then full of guilt with every trip to the pediatrician😭,” she explained.

But Hannah wasn’t giving up💪. After discovering E320 Chiropractic, she and Gloria began their 1 hour and 45-minute (one way!) drives for hope and healing💚. “As soon as I started reading about the practice and talking with Dr. Rhonda, I knew I had found our next step in healing! I was not surprised by Gloria’s neurological scans, and as an occupational therapist myself, I could see where her challenges were and it made perfect sense. I was finally able to come up with a game plan for my child, and I felt complete trust in the E320 team,” Hannah said🙌.

Gloria (aka “Glo”🌟) and her incredible mom have made the most of their weekly trips. Now dubbed “The Commuting Legends,” this duo has sacrificed so much to see Glo’s nervous system heal one adjustment at a time. We’re honored to celebrate the big wins in their journey💚. Keep shining, Glo✨!
