📣 FUN Friday at Hopewell!

It’s been a busy season around here — and we’ve loved every minute of it! 💙 From trips to the farm, scavenger hunts around Anderson, and canoe adventures… to community projects, employee supervisor training, and even a McDonald’s Day celebration for Connie, our CEO who will be retiring soon.

And we’re not slowing down! 🚗🎶🍂

Rain or shine, the Madison county self-advocates bring your own pool party was always going to make a splash - and boy, did it ever! With dunk tanks, pools, grub on the menu and snow cones by the one and only "Sugar Rush", everyone had a blast. We are so proud to have a team that's willing to jump through hoops every single day, all day long, and still manage to have a total blast!

🎉🏆 We’re thrilled to share that Hopewell Center won the Judge’s Choice Certificate in the Chesterfield 4th of July Parade! 🇺🇸🎆

Our theme, “Independence Day Every Day,” truly came to life thanks to the energy, creativity, and spirit of everyone who participated. From the red, white, and blue to the smiles, laughter, and teamwork — Hopewell showed up and showed out!

Hopewell Center showed up with excitement, fun, laughter, and patriotic cheer as we proudly represented our theme: Independence Day Every Day! 🎉

A HUGE shoutout to our Day Program staff and clients for their incredible creativity and hard work designing such an eye-catching float! 💪👏

Thank you to the dedicated staff and families who donated water, candy, and their time to help us shine in the heat—we couldn’t have done it without you! ☀️🍬💧

Day Services had its first club meeting today! The junk journal club created the first page of their own journals. We discussed embracing imperfection today and finding "magic in the mess." Participants used found materials and a variety of art supplies to express themselves in unexpected, creative ways. Everyone really had a great time! Stay tuned for more fun things happening this summer with our clubs!
