Thank you to everyone who came out to our annual Bingo Blitz!

This year, we had:

🎟 538 tickets sold (another sold-out event!)
👥 65 staff and community volunteers
💰 $49,000 from generous business sponsorships
😄 Countless smiles

It's always moving to see the support from the community for the work we do. Without you, we couldn't be changing lives and supporting our neighbors. So, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you 💙

Exciting News and a Season of Transition at Hopewell

After 39 years of dedicated service — the last several as CEO — Connie Kurtz will be retiring in February 2026. Her steady leadership, compassion, and commitment to individuals with disabilities have shaped not only Hopewell Center, but countless lives in our community.

As we prepare for this transition, the Board of Directors has formed a CEO Search Committee and partnered with Red Envelope Consulting (Indianapolis) to guide the search for Hopewell’s next leader.

We’re hosting our annual Car Show on Friday, Oct 17 — classics, customs, and community all in ONE PLACE.

💙 Staff Appreciation Day 💙

Today we pause to celebrate our incredible Hopewell team. Every day, you show up with compassion, creativity, and dedication — and we truly could not do what we do without you.

We know we won’t get everything perfect, but we are committed to learning, improving, and supporting one another along the way. What makes Hopewell strong is the heart of our people.

This appreciation also comes just before National DSP Recognition Week, which begins on Sunday. Direct Support Professionals are a huge part of our Hopewell family, and we’re grateful for the vital role they play in helping individuals empower, connect, and thrive.
