What a crazy year fundraising for Cops For Kids With Cancer, our local businesses are being incredibly generous this year, we are truly blown away! Officer Ring’s smile is small in this picture but Andover Hearing Center, LLC’s donation is large…another $1,000.00 donation!

There is still time left to donate, no matter how if or small. Please visit the below website and make a donation to a great cause. Thank you!

COVID-19 UPDATE: Andover Hearing Center is back open on a reduced schedule beginning May 26, 2020. As part of our continued efforts to keep patients, staff, and family safe, we've put in place the following procedures and restriction.

ALL visits are by appointment only, please call the office to schedule a visit- NO Walk-ins

We have limited appointments during the day, as we need additional time in between patients to clean and sanitize the office

All visitors to the office MUST wear a mask at all times during your visit. All our staff will be wearing masks to protect you as well

Only 1 person will be permitted to enter the office at a time, unless prior arrangements have been made before your appointment (call to discuss if you have circumstances that require additional people)

We will only be open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week until further notice

If you are not feeling well on the day of your appointment, please call us to reschedule. We ask that you do not come in if you are sick, have a cough, fever equal to or greater than 104, loss of taste or smell, or any other signs of sickness

Please do not come in if you have tested POSITIVE for Covid-19 or have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive

Do not come in if you have traveled by plane or outside the US in the last 14 days

We ask that you visit the restroom, prior to your appointment, to wash your hands. Hand sanitizer will be available before entering the office and when you leave

We will be taking temperatures of each patient permitted into the office and asking the above questions to ensure we keep as safe an environment as possible

We recognize that many of these steps can seem inconvenient, but we are doing this to protect everyone as much as possible during these challenging times. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding and will work very hard to make your visit as comfortable as possible.

We take great pride in helping our patients and want to do everything we can to continue providing our services and keeping you, our team, and the community safe. If you have any questions or concerns about visiting us, please call the office and we will be happy to discuss them with you.

Covid-19 UPDATE: Andover Hearing Center continues to follow the Governors Order to remain closed, which has been extended through May 4th. We understand the inconvenience this causes, but we are doing our part in helping to slow the spread of the virus. The health and safety of our patients, their families, our employees and their families, is a top priority for us. We are still answering calls and e-mails, will work with patients who have immediate needs as best we can and in accordance with the order and proper protocols, and will assist with any supplies or batteries you may need during this time. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to being able to open our office again soon. If you have any questions or need anything immediately, please contact us to discuss options at 978-470-4500 Thank you and stay safe!

03/24/2020

As the result of the Covid-19 pandemic, and per the recent order of the Governors office, Andover Hearing Center will be closed until April 7, or until the order is lifted. We have recently requested an “essential” designation as we feel that hearing health is a safety and quality of life service, but at this time, we need to adhere to the order. If that changes, we will provide an update along with any information on office hours or services we may provide, which will be on a case-by-case basis, and in accordance with current protocols.

In the interim, we will be checking our voicemail and e-mail regularly, so if you have any emergency need with your hearing aid, please let us know so we can help determine the best course of action. We will be available to ship/mail supplies, batteries, filters or domes, if there is an urgent need. Please be sure to leave a contact number where you can be reached when leaving a voicemail, which will allow us to get back with you directly.

We appreciate your patience and understanding. Most importantly, our thoughts and prayers are with each of our patients and their families during these challenging time. Stay safe and we will see you when the office reopens.

Your first step to better hearing!

In July of 2008, Wendy Ring purchased Amore Hearing Center. Amore had been in business for 54 years, serving the Andover and Lawrence communities with hearing aids sales and service. Later that same year, the business was re-named Andover Hearing Center, dedicated to the continuation of helping people address hearing loss throughout the Merrimack Valley.

Ms. Ring is a seasoned practitioner with over 25 years experience in the hearing aid and hearing health field. Ms. Ring obtained her Bachelors of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology, as well as her Masters of Science in Audiology, both from Ithaca College. Her career in Audiology began in Newburyport, Massachusetts where she completed her certificate in clinical competency (CCC’s) working in an Ear, Nose, and Throat physicians office diagnosing hearing disorders and fitting hearing aids.

After five years in the ENT setting, Ms. Ring held various positions within the field of Audiology. From staff Audiologist for the world largest hearing aid manufacturer, to product trainer of advanced hearing devices, to a consultant providing diagnostic evaluations for patients confined to nursing homes, Ms. Ring has extensive experience in both diagnostic evaluation of hearing loss and the technical specifications and limitations of advanced amplification. Her last position prior to purchasing Amore Hearing was in a private practice hearing center in Haverhill, Massachusetts where she worked for approximately 5 years.

Ms. Ring has been Andover resident for over 20 years where she lives with her husband Kurt, her two sons Dylan and Trevor, and their puppy Lagotto, Bruno. Ms. Ring is proud to be able to bring better hearing to the Merrimack Valley and is excited that she can help residents, friends, and neighbors of the local community.
