It's a Snow Day!
Sparks Eye Care will be closed today, Feb 2nd, due to inclement weather. If you have an emergency, please call the office at 316-201-1837, and press 1 to be connected to Dr. Sparks. You can also leave a message at the end of the greeting, and we will return your call tomorrow.

And... we're back!

Sparks Eye Care has returned to providing full range of care effective today, and we couldn't be more excited!

In order to protect the well being of our staff and all our patients, we will be wearing masks for all procedures. All patients on entering the office will be required to wear a facial covering. Appointments will be necessary for all optical services.

If you have any questions regarding our policies, please feel free to ask any of the staff or Dr. Sparks.

And to all, our greatest wish is that you be safe, and be well.

Earlier this week, the Centers for Disease Control issued a directive that optometrists postpone all routine vision examinations due to the COVID 19 pandemic. In the interests of protecting both staff and the patients we serve, we are following this guidance.

Our office has instituted temporary office hours of 10 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday. If you have an eye health emergency -- eye pain, flashes of light, floaters, decreased vision, injury, or any other medical concern -- please call our office and we will be available to assist you. If you need care outside office hours, call the office and follow the prompts to be forwarded to Dr. Sparks.

If you are due for your routine examination, we will extend your glasses or contact lens prescriptions for three months to allow your needs to be met. Please contact our office for details.

As you, we are closely monitoring the situation, and as soon as feasible, we will return to normal scheduling and the full scope of care you deserve.
