Why W2 vs. 1099 at Andover Family Counseling?

I’ve been asked this a lot lately — and honestly, I love when people are curious about it!

There are many reasons we chose to move to a W2 employment model, but one of the biggest?

Because the IRS requires it. ✔️

Just take a look at what’s happening in nearby states — more and more practices are filing for bankruptcy after misclassifying therapists as independent contractors. 😬 It’s a serious issue that can put both the practice and clinicians at risk.
