Enjoy your snow day in today! ☃️🏂 Thank you to all of my staff and our AFM patients for their continued positive support while we have been experiencing computer downtime this week. We are still working, our phones are up and working as usual ☎️, and we are happy to take your call. We are also seeing patients in office today. If you have not received your medication refill from your pharmacy or a response to an online portal message it is truly because we haven't been able to retrieve it yet. Happy Holidays from all of us at Andover Family Medicine. Our office is closed today, December 24 through Sunday, December 27 to allow our staff much needed family time during the Christmas holiday. Please know that if you are having symptoms of sinus congestion, sore throat, fever, or vomiting you may have a COVID-19 infection. Testing is available over the weekend by appointment at the Little Clinic, Xpress Wellness Urgent Care, and AFC Urgent Care. We will be back in the office on Monday and will continue to offer same day COVID-19 testing for our patients by appointment as well. As always, if you are experiencing shortness of breath or acute chest pain please check in to the nearest emergency room for evaluation.

Please continue to contact your pharmacy for routine medication refills over the holidays.

We are excited the COVID-19 vaccine will be more widely available in the coming months, but at this time our office does not have the COVID-19 vaccine. KDHEKS.gov has the most current information about planning for vaccine distribution and you can also contact your local pharmacy for additional information. We will continue to take all safety measures in our office for your continued health into the new year.

We are excited to announce the addition of Rachel Marie Porter, APRN to our amazing team of AFM providers! Rachel is a new graduate and will continue her training directly with Dr. Landers this fall and will be accepting new patients just in time to help us celebrate our 15 year anniversary in October ❤️ We have also added two new clinical staff to our team Breanna, LPN and Sarah, RN. Please say hello if you see them during your next visit. Thank you so much for all of the amazing community support during COVID-19. We continue to see patients safely in our office and via TeleHealth.

Please help us preserve our current supply of face masks by wearing your own cloth or disposable mask into the office during your office visit. We are asking all patients and family members to wear a mask while in the office for your visit and appreciate your continued support to protect our community during the pandemic.

We are excited to continue offering school and sports physicals in the mornings and will also be doing some evening clinics for these as well in July and August.

TeleHealth continues to be a great option for routine follow-ups and is now available for Medicare Annual Wellness Visits as well. Call 211 for assistance with community COVID-19 screening tests or call our office with additional COVID-19 questions.

We are now able to provide TeleHealth visits virtually! Using a HIPAA compliant and secure platform, Updox, we can schedule your visit from your home. Call to schedule and our staff will guide you through the process and e-mail you instructions to sign into your visit at your scheduled appointment time. This is a convenient and safe way to do many types of routine follow-up and even sick visits. We are also still able to see you in the office for your annual physicals and other health needs.
