Tucker John-Roy Tippin stepped out of this world and into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 8, 2026. ...
01/14/2026

Tucker John-Roy Tippin stepped out of this world and into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 8, 2026. His life, brief yet radiant, burned with a quiet faithfulness; one of compassion, humor, protection, and a gentle spirit, leaving warmth behind even in his absence.

Born on November 7, 2003, in Fort Stockton, Texas, to Lisa Ann Ransom and Russell Robert Tippin, Tucker grew up rooted in love, humor, and a fierce tenderness for others. He was raised in Andrews, Texas, where he attended and graduated from Andrews High School. His time at First Baptist Church, Wednesday night bible studies, and summer camps led him to become anchored in the Lord. At the time of his passing, he was pursuing his future at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas, with aspirations to become an electrical engineer.

Tucker loved life in its everyday forms; the pull of a fishing line, hunting, playing games, jet skiing, and being a co****le champ. Tucker was also a proud supporter of Texas A&M University and loved everything about Aggieland, especially attending football games with his sister Macy. Above all, he loved his people even more.

Protective, selfless, respectful, and instinctively kind, Tucker had a servant’s heart. He gave without keeping score, stood without being asked, and loved without conditions. If someone needed him, he was already on his way. Most of all, Tucker lived his faith, not loudly, but steadfastly, through compassion, humility, and love. Heaven gained not only a soul, but a servant.

Tucker is now joyfully reunited with those who preceded him in death: his grandparents, John and Gail Ransom, and Roy Tippin Jr.; his great-grandmothers, JoAnn Dickson, Neva Beene, Ruby Ransom; his great-aunt and uncle Margaret Dickson and James Stanley; his great-cousin, Ken Dickson; and his dear family friend, Lindsey Faith Horton.

He leaves behind his parents, Russell and Lisa Tippin of Odessa; his sister, Macy Rose Tippin of Odessa; his grandmother, Patsy Dickson Tippin of Andrews; The Bryan Conyers family of Andrews; The Eric Perucca family of Kyle; and a wide circle of family and friends who loved him fiercely and will carry him, in stories, in faith, and in quiet moments.

A visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2026, in the fellowship hall at First Baptist Church, 301 E. Broadway Street, Andrews, Texas. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m., under the direction of McNett Funeral Home of Andrews. Burial will take place at Andrews West Cemetery where he will be laid to rest next to his grandfather, Roy Tippin Jr.

Tucker’s pallbearers will be Hayden Andres, Zane Dulin, Corben Flores, Jakob Guy, Cannon Harper, Jayden Harper, Kolton Harper, Joey Jeppesen, William Johnson, Kadyn Kitchens, Koltyn Kitchens, Nicholas McArthur, Luke Olmsted, Hank Perucca, Hezekiah Perucca, Hunter Perucca, Toby Trotter, Gabe Sherrod and Jathan Slaughter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tucker’s honor to the Lindsey Horton Memorial at lovelikelindsey.org (http://lovelikelindsey.org/) or to Orphan Outreach at orphanoutreach.org (http://orphanoutreach.org/).

Tucker’s life reminds us that some souls come to teach us how to love more deeply, live more gently, and believe more fully.
