rly move and position the body to better leverage into its holding patterns and release them. There is also an element of movement and stretching. the primary philosophy behind Thai Massage is to remove the restrictions that prevent the body's energy from being able to effectively move. I can not recommend this therapy enough for athletes. I do practice massage therapy on the table as well, tho it's likely somewhat different than you're used to. Although not as direct as Thai Massage, my table sessions get right to the point of finding and releasing the restrictions and holding patterns in the soft tissues. I've performed countless deep tissue and Swedish massages during my time working in the spa industry. So at times you may be reminded of other sessions you've had. However, my training in John Barnes' Myofascial Release and in NMT/Trigger Point Therapy are the techniques that really shine through, so you leave feeling looser and ready to reorient into your updated body!
