At Serenity Light Recovery, we meet the clients where they are in their addiction and guide them down a path of recovery that enables sustainable long-term recovery. We help them see the light through the darkness and overcome barriers to change to achieve true freedom. Our ultimate goal is to improve their quality of life and empower them to make positive choices.

Our clients are not alone in this journey and the diversity of our staff, over 80% of which are in recovery, are a testament to that. Making the decision to seek help for addiction is a choice that should be rewarded and cherished. We all recover differently, yet together.
We have a family of compassionate and experienced addiction specialists to help clients through the treatment process. Our team determines the underlying cause of substance abuse and employs a multitude of evidence-based treatment modalities. Most importantly, we teach healthy coping mechanisms to reduce the urge to use in a high-stress situation. Serenity Light Recovery cares about making a difference in our clients’ lives. We are an adult co-ed substance abuse treatment center. Our all-inclusive campus includes a 10 bed full medical detox, 52 bed residential treatment center with 8 private suites, and an Intensive Outpatient program (IOP). Located on 10+ acres in Angleton, Texas, about one hour south of Houston Medical Center, we are a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city yet close enough for family to visit. Serenity Light Recovery is a 12 step based facility; however, we understand that not one size fits all, so we give our clients the opportunity to choose their own path by offering supplemental education on alternative recovery programs such as Celebrate Recovery and SMART Recovery.
Our modalities include CBT, EMDR, BioSound/BioFeedback, Trigger Awareness™ Program and more. Since we believe in a holistic approach to heal the mind, body and spirit we offer meditation, yoga, personal training, Creative Art Expressions, massage therapy, nutritional counseling and Pharmacogenomics (PGX) assessments.
We integrate peer support services and alumni aftercare by assigning each patient a Recovery Coach who joins them upon admission and follows them through their first year of recovery.
