On With Life is excited to be hosting two sessions of the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach "Powerful Tools for Caregivers" course this fall! Supporting caregivers is something we are passionate about, and these classes will help caregivers not only take better care of their loved ones, but also themselves.

Classes will start on October 6 and take place every Monday through November 10 (total of six sessions). We will be hosting both a 10 am option as well as a 12:30 pm option. Learn more and sign up using the below link!

Persons served and vegetables are both thriving over at our New Horizons Center! We said in the spring that we couldn't wait to see what this program was going to grow with their new garden beds, and they sure did deliver. Tomatoes, zucchinis, squash, pumpkins... you name it, they probably have grown it!

Not only are persons served growing produce, they are using it to make all of the goodies. They were even able to have a cookout where they provided a majority of the food. These garden beds have provided such a fun (and delicious) summer project!
