Whether you are newly diagnosed, exploring resources or looking to stay active and connected, this event will offer practical tools and meaningful support for persons with Parkinson's and their caregivers. Attendees will rotate through interactive learning stations focused on brain health, movement and exercise, communication strategies, and adaptive equipment.

Nurses and CNAs go above and beyond every day to provide compassionate care to persons served and their families. The Daisy Foundation created the DAISY Award as a way to celebrate and thank nurses by collecting nominations from persons served, families and co-workers. Since there is no equivalent of the DAISY Award for CNAs, our internal team created the Sunflower Award to honor CNAs for their hard work and compassion.

Last week in Polk City, we celebrated our nominees and honorees. Congratulations to Renee Cook, RN (DAISY Award honoree) and Erica Caldwell, CNA and Jackie Vidlund, CNA (Sunflower Award honorees), and the rest of our amazing nominees! 🌻
