What Are EMFs? 📡 Electromagnetic Fields are areas of energy, often called radiation, that can come from both natural & man made sources.

There are two main types:
1. High-frequency (ionizing) EMFs:
From X-rays, gamma rays & ultraviolet light. 🩻

2. Low-frequency (non-ionizing) EMFs: there are what we are exposed to all day, everyday. Sources like power lines, Wi-Fi routers, cell phones, computers, & Bluetooth devices. 📱

While research is ongoing, EMFs can negatively impact sleep, the body’s ability to manage stress, endocrine disruption & increased risk of many other health concerns. 🫣

3 WAYS TO LIMIT EXPOSURE:

1. Increase Distance: do not keep your phone in your pocket or on your body all day long & place electronics in a different room while sleeping.

2. Reduce Duration: set time limits on all devices. We may limit iPad/phone/tv time individually, but when daily time for all devices is combined it can add up VERY quickly!

3. Optimize your environment: unplug WiFi at night, use wired internet connection when possible, remove WiFi routers from bedrooms or areas close to where you sleep.

Kaci is a wife and mom of two with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts, a minor in Psychology, and a strong focus in Biology. Her passion for holistic health began through her own healing journey - both personally and with her family - which opened her eyes to the power of natural, root-cause–focused care.

Now training as a Muscle Testing Practitioner at Deeply Rooted Healing, Kaci is dedicated to helping others uncover the underlying causes of imbalance and supporting each person’s path toward restored health and vitality.

Grocery shopping this weekend? Here are some great brands to lookout for! 🎃

Most of these can be found at Target, some at Walmart, & Whole Foods has tons of great options if you are headed to West Des Moines. 😊

The fall season can be a kickoff to the months long sugary celebrations ahead. 😵‍💫 It’s important to monitor sugar intake - especially for kiddos & find those better for you swaps as often as you can.

Many pumpkin/apple/seasonal products don’t even contain the ingredient of the flavor they are replicating. Lots of sugar, artificial sweeteners & seed oils can be in these treats so check labels! 📋
