This past weekend, a few members of the THRIVE team attended the 12th annual Carnival in the Park in Newton, IA, hosted by Integrated Treatment Services, LLC. The Carnival promotes family unity, inclusion, and community involvement. Kim, Tammy, and Anita enjoyed a fun-filled day while also connecting with potential employers in the community. We’re grateful for opportunities like this that strengthen relationships and support our mission of building inclusive workplaces!🎆🎪

🌟THRIVE Supported Employment Monthly Recap🌟

July was a month of great progress at THRIVE. We placed 7 consumers in meaningful jobs, and had 3 consumers achieve their goal of independent employment. Across our 7 regions, we provided Job Development and Job Coaching services to 169 consumers. We also took time to honor Disability Pride Month and celebrated our incredible consumers we support every day.

July marked a period of growth as we welcomed new Regional Directors, Job Coaches, and Employment Specialists to strengthen our mission. We’re proud of the impact made in July and look forward to building on this momentum in the months ahead.

As July comes to an end, remember that disability inclusion should not be limited to one week or one month, it should be supported every day. Together, we can create more opportunity, accessibility, and pride across Iowa. Let’s keep moving forward.
