Mill Pond is a Presbyterian Homes & Services senior living community located in Ankeny, IA offering independent living, assisted living, memory care, transitional care, and long term care apartment homes. Mill Pond celebrated its 20th year of serving seniors in Ankeny and launched a redevelopment project in June 2015 that added 64 independent living, 40 assisted living, and 18 memory care apartments. Plus a combination of new construction and remodeled health center with options for long term care or short-term rehabilitation, and transitional care.

🎡 The State Fair Was Pure Magic! 🎠

The rides soared, the music roared, and the smell of deep-fried everything filled the air — the State Fair delivered unforgettable memories once again! From the laughter of kids at the petting zoo to the cheers at the pig races, every corner of the fairgrounds buzzed with excitement.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Our staff and residents together.
🎤 Live performances sent melodies through the summer breeze.
🐷 Farm animals charmed the crowds.
🍭 And the food? Wild, delicious, and totally worth it.

We played games, won prizes, danced, and ate. It was a celebration of community, tradition, and pure fun.

Thank you to every vendor, volunteer, and team member who made this a special celebration for our residents!

🧈 Our Mill Pond State Fair has started and is full of country western-themed state fair energy. Butter sculpting was a hit with the winner being a sculpture of a beautiful flower.🌸Yummy, sweet treats of fried Oreos and caricature drawings by . Stephanie laughed and artistically rendered our residents' portraits, seemingly effortlessly. What a gem!

The Wall That Heals exhibit was in Nevada recently, and our residents asked to go. We took them to see The Wall That Heals.

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund stated ,"Bringing The Wall home to communities throughout our country allows the souls enshrined on the Memorial to exist once more among family and friends in the peace and comfort of familiar surroundings. The traveling exhibit provides thousands of veterans who have been unable to cope with the prospect of facing The Wall to find the strength and courage to do so within their own communities, thus allowing the healing process to begin."
