who attended & those that volunteered! It takes a lot of extra hands 🙌 to come together & make these community activities such a success 😉!

Belated post from Good Friday 4/18/25:
It was a VERY full day with our devotional reading 📖, exercises, & music 🎶 therapy with Jackie before lunch.

We also welcomed DMACC Dental 🦷 Hygiene Student Natalie B for some staff education on the importance of oral cares for our seniors.

In the afternoon, we had church ⛪️ service with Pastor Mike from First Family, including the resident-requested communion served by Activities and then Michelle’s Goodbye & Good Luck Social. She extends a heartfelt thank you 🙏 to ALL the residents, families, volunteers, & staff (both current & former) who joined her! We all want to say thank you to Minka for making the beautiful & yummy cake 😋…

Happy Thursday from everyone at Svcc-
Thank you 🙏 to staff who wore their kindness-themed or smile 😃 T-shirts today!

We welcomed both Theresa and RN Angi to our team 🙌, with the official passing of the Activity Director “Torch” being caught on camera 🔥❤️😍😂!

Thanks 🙏 to our walkers (Michelle, Theresa, Shelby & Renee) on the walk & roll to Joy in the Morning (held offsite at Resurrection Lutheran Church ⛪️) before lunch. We were welcomed from Ken (a volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Association). Residents (as the rollers) enjoyed donuts 🍩 before singing 🎶 in the sanctuary.

We had a really lovely day in the courtyard for our Sunshine ☀️ Club and enjoyed the visits from ARL TheraPet team Jada Mae the dog and Volunteer Lynette 🤗.

Several residents also watched a movie 🎥 marathon throughout the day in our TV Sunroom.

Thanks to the few residents who joined Activities outside in the courtyard for a windy Sunshine ☀️ Club & then we want to thank 🙏Suncrest Hospice for sponsoring the Bingo Prize Cart this afternoon (with a few goodies added to the prize cart from our Svcc Activity Department, Svcc Resident Sandy S, and also an anonymous donor)!

*Please join us for our evening activity at 6:30 pm for Scripture Night, which will be hymn singing with our friends ❤️ 🎶
