Managing anxiety with ADHD isn’t about trying harder—it’s about working with your brain.

When fast thoughts, overwhelm, and nervous system dysregulation collide, anxiety can feel constant.

Coping starts by meeting your body where it is: externalizing thoughts, shrinking tasks, using structure as support, and prioritizing rest. Regulation comes before logic, and compassion matters just as much as strategy.

Support doesn’t mean fixing yourself. It means understanding how your brain works and giving it what it needs.

• Chronic self-doubt or feeling like you’re “bad at life”
• Emotional sensitivity or intense reactions
• People-pleasing and overcompensating to avoid criticism
• Anxiety, burnout, or perfectionism masking symptoms
• Difficulty starting tasks (not finishing them)
• Forgetting appointments, texts, or daily responsibilities
• Being labeled “too much” or “too sensitive”

It's normal for your digestion to feel a little...off after the holidays. Between changes in routine, stress, sleep, and food, your gut has been through a lot.

Healing your gut doesn’t require restriction or “starting over.”

Gentle support (i.e., regular meals, hydration, fiber as tolerated, rest, and calming the nervous system) goes much further than extremes.
