“I had been gluten free for a little over 2 years due to digestive issues. I felt so much better doing so, however even with regular workouts I was still hanging on to 12 stubborn lbs and feeling hungry all the time. Resources for how to properly structure your meals and get enough protein/fiber while gluten free are hard to come by.
Jayne really laid it out for me in simple terms. I had been seriously undereating at breakfast and lunch, and constantly felt like I was starving. Shifting my eating to the morning, beefing up my breakfast with a significant amount of protein, and stopping my eating after dinner has given me a huge increase in energy, better digestion, and better sleep. I have a 14-year-old and a 12-year-old that are crazy busy, and if I still felt as sluggish and hungry as I did, I’m not sure I’d be surviving their schedule. I am already half way to my goal weight and I feel like it’s coming off at a nice, consistent pace. Jayne provided me with more meal ideas/recipes than I was expecting, and was very open to me texting her when I had questions. She’s very much rooting for you to succeed in this process.
I’ve worked with several dietitians over the last 10 years. If you want someone who will help you clean up your diet and make it feasible for your whole family, Jayne can make it happen. I feel like the changes I’ve made are ones that can easily be lived long-term. I no longer feel frustrated, deprived, and bloated/inflamed. My clothes fit me so much better, and pictures of me a few months ago definitely reflect a huge change.
