πŸ’™ Happy Boss’s Day to the Leaders Who Make a Difference πŸ’™

Today, we honor the incredible leaders who guide teams in one of the most challenging β€” and most important fields: β€” protecting children and supporting families impacted by abuse and neglect.

Working in child advocacy/protection requires strength, compassion, and unwavering dedication. And having a boss who leads with empathy, integrity, and a clear vision makes all the difference.

To the bosses who:
βœ… Advocate fiercely for vulnerable children
βœ… Support their teams through emotionally demanding work
βœ… Lead with heart, courage, and resilience
βœ… Never lose sight of the mission: safety, healing, and hope

Thank you for showing us what true leadership looks like. Your impact reaches further than you'll ever know. πŸ’™

As this week comes to a close, we would like to take a moment to recognize our incredible Forensic Interviewers during National Forensic Interviewer Week (July 7-11) and Forensic Interviewer Day (July 12th).

For those of you that may not know, Forensic Interviewers conduct interviews with children and dependent adults who are the suspected victims of abuse. Another thing you may not know is that you can often identify a Forensic Interviewer outside of work by their use of "tell me more" prompts during a conversation. πŸ˜†

All jokes aside, we are incredibly lucky to have so many great Forensic Interviewers working in the state of Iowa.

Thank you for all that you do! πŸ’™

We had the opportunity along with each of our Child Advocacy Center managers in Iowa to attend the National Leadership Conference this week hosted by the National Children's Alliance in Washington, D.C.

While there, we attended some great training sessions and had the opportunity to visit with our Iowa Senators and Representatives. We appreciate them making children and specifically, abused children, a priority.

⭐️Happy Family Navigator Day! While today is not a nationally recognized day, we chose this day to celebrate and recognize our Family Navigators for all the hard work they do!

πŸ“ŒOur Family Navigators work with families within our Drug Endangered Children (DEC) clinics. Our DEC programs assess children and coordinate treatment and early intervention for children prenatally or environmentally exposed to substances.

It takes many helping hands to positively change children`s lives.

Thank you for all you do, Family Navigators!
