We are sure many of you have been impacted by the construction on N Ankeny Blvd this summer. The construction has switched to the other side starting this week. Yay! We are excited that progress is boing made, but this means that you can no longer enter our office from the front. Hopefully this map will come in handy in guiding you to our parking lot. The usual front entrance, as well as the turn from N Ankeny Blvd onto NE 5th Street are closed at the moment, so in order to reach our parking lot, you must come from the back of the building. You can enter the alley behind the businesses from either E 1st St behind CVS or NE 5th St behind the BMO bank.
We will continue to be open our usual business hours through the construction. Please give yourself some extra time to make it to your appointments due to all the increased traffic. If you have any questions or are having trouble getting to our office, feel free to give us a call at 515-964-1671. Thank you!

For 40 years Ankeny Family Vision Center has provided high quality eye care. We are committed to providing you with state-of-the-art technology and a dedicated team. AFVC is excited to announce the expansion of our clinical services with our Vision Therapy Clinic, Dry Eye Clinic and our Eye & Facial Spa.

We have a fantastic selection of over 1,000 frames in our gallery and are confident that we can meet the styles of anyone’s needs and budget. When you partner with AFVC you are also partnering with unique charities. Every pair of glasses purchased provides a meal to Feed My Starving Children.

We love caring for kids at AFVC! Our doctors and team have the experience and training needed to provide kids with a productive and enjoyable visit.
