A couple of days ago I received a card from one of Rod’s patients that made me smile. She knew a part of him very well! I’ve never met this dear lady, but I feel like I know her. When we were going through my cancer treatments, she made me several microwaveable heating bags. The bags were made with fun cheerful patterns. Rod lovingly tucked me in every night with those comforting bags. Here’s a portion of the uplifting note …

I took the photo at Cedar Coffee Company last October in Two Harbors, MN. This would be our final trip to the North Shore and what an incredible trip it was! SO many precious memories with my dearest on earth. His smile is even bigger now!
