Dr. Deidre Hurse will be a panelist for the Home as Community Workshop. She will be touching on the importance of identity and community from the patient perspective. Specifically, Dr. Hurse will shed light on the ways in which individuals are viewed in the professional setting and juxtapose this to how individuals of various identities and communities are treated as patients.
