There is a difference between normal labs and average labs.⠀

Often times, the ranges are quite large on lab testing. You often miss what actually is an optimal level, missing an opportunity to make some changes 😔⠀

Don’t settle for average- work for optimal 💪🏽⠀

For example TSH (often checked for thyroid issues) can range from 0.5-5.0 mIU/L. ⠀

But optimal is closer to 2-2.5 AND you have to look at the full thyroid panel which looks at T4, T3, and antibodies to really get a complete picture. Not to mention adrenal stress that can slow down how the thyroid works 🙄⠀

You are not a lab value is isolation. Every hormone in the body is dynamic and responds to what is going on internally. Look at the whole picture🤓⠀

One of the biggest culprits of the Monday morning fatigue is due to social jet lag. Social jet lag is when you stay up later on Friday and Saturday nights, then sleep in in the following morning. It may feel good to sleep in but it totally disrupts your circadian rhythm 😬⠀

Each organ in the body has a CLOCK gene which helps with timing of repair. When we disrupt the rhythm, we disrupt ability to repair and our body is just confused and ends up feeling fatigued 😩⠀

So best thing to do is keep the rhythm in check, even on the weekends 🤓⠀
