Two innovative studio workshops blending art, technology, and advocacy!

We’ll help young people with disabilities be empowered to share their stories, and advocate for the changes they want to see in the world. Participants will learn about:
· Disability history
· How creative works can inspire change
· How to use digital tools like Canva and social media to craft and amplify your message

Accommodations, tablets and/or other pieces of assistive technology will be provided to ensure equal access to our digital tools.

The Washtenaw County Office of Community & Economic Development's Accessibility Ramp Program is opening its 2026 waitlist on Tuesday, March 17th at noon until 4:00 pm.

Residents can visit https://www.washtenaw.org/765/Accessibility-Ramp-Program between noon and 4pm on March 17th to join the waitlist or call 734-544-3008 to speak with a coordinator.

OCED's program provides for the installation of exterior wheelchair ramps to improve the accessibility of a home. There is no immediate cost to the homeowner, but a 0% interest property lien lasts for five-years and is forgiven if the owner lives in the property for the full five- years.
