Asst. Prof. Paul Chandanabhumma, Ph.D., MPH, of Family Medicine is co-leading a NAPCRG Committee on Advancing the Science of Family Medicine (CASFM) webinar, "Finding Strength in Community: Identifying Strategies to Sustain Participatory Health Research During Times of Uncertainty." The event takes place from noon-1 p.m. CST, Thursday, Jan. 29.
The webinar will generate field-based strategies and insights to sustain participatory health research within a challenging and uncertain environment brought on by global socio-political events.

Chandanabhumma’s co-host is Ginetta Salvalaggio MD, MSc, CCFP(AM), FCFP, professor with the University of Alberta Department of Family Medicine, and an associate scientific director with the Inner City Health and Wellness Program. They both co-chair the NAPCRG CASFM Participatory Health Research Workgroup.
The PHR Working Group promotes collaborative research partnerships among patients, communities and stakeholders to advance participatory approaches, support researchers, and advocate for related policies in primary care.
