After a long hiatus, the canvas finally called to me, and this beauty rose from the mountains, letting me know she is a personification of the Goddess/Archetype Pele. I thought she would be embodying more anger at the loss of women's rights we are experiencing, but she surprised me with her calmness. It is about knowing your history, and realizing this is nothing new, She said. Mankind will periodically attempt to repress women, take away their rights, restrict their options. And yet women will find their way to their freedom because their strength comes from their ability to commune with Mystery, to be lead and moved by flow/intuition that will always be full of Wisdom. As such, they will always find a way to rise back up. I saw an owl in the white, but than one friend saw a lion, and another spirit allies, so I decided to let the white space represent Mystery with all its possibilities. Let me know what you see...

If we are all showing up with our different needs, beliefs, expectations, and commitments, then inevitably there's going to be conflict. Conflict is just the presence of differences...If we have a conflict positive frame then we understand...conflict is inevitable. So let's just learn how to do it welll, let's learn how to minimize the harm. We have to learn how to engage skillfully. Dr. Amanda Aguilera
I would add this to the ideas I shared about learning to be okay with not being okay. So important to practice in today's world.
